Building Resilience, One Connection at a Time
What Sets Us Apart
At the Foreign Affairs Support Network, our foundation is built on the expertise and dedication of a team of active and former U.S. foreign affairs professionals who identified a crucial need for mental health and peer support services in high-stress overseas environments. Drawing on decades of collective experience in diplomacy, crisis response, and organizational leadership, we established FASN as a nonprofit organization committed to providing structured, evidence-based peer support that complements existing resources. By expanding on the Lyda Hill GRIT model, we bring compassionate and confidential support to every public servant and their family within the foreign affairs community. Our team’s extensive industry experience in U.S. diplomacy, crisis management, program design, employee wellness, and leadership development ensures that we deliver tailored and effective services. Additionally, our partnership with the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience, a leader in trauma-informed peer support training, further enhances the quality and impact of our programs.
